Prompt 3

“You can’t just leave me!”
John sadly turned to his now ex girlfriend, Vriska, who was standing in the bedroom doorway, still in her pajamas, heartbroken tears running down her face.
“Vriska, I just can't do this anymore. I know that before, i accepted the fact that you, well, you’re a criminal. I love you, but it can’t work between us anymore.”
John opened the front door, preparing to step out.
“I you walk out that door, you will never see me again!” Vriska shouted, desperate to change his mind. John turned his head, shook it, and stepped out, closing the door behind him. He heard her scream of anguish as he walked out into the night. Too pretty of a night for such things to happen. As he walked, he watched houses and cars full of people who had better lives to go back to in the middle of the night, passed him by.Just as he reached the edge of town, he got a strange thought.
‘Hasn't this happened before?’

John woke up with a gasp. He turned his head to see his Vriska, his long time wife, stirring from his awakening.
“You alright honey?” Vriska said sleepily.
“Yeah, i just had a bad dream”
“Don't worry John, we will always be here for each other. I love you”
John smiled. “Yeah, i love you too.”
“Always?”
“Always”
